My Great Grandpa who just recently passed away, was a wood worker. His home is covered in beautiful wooden pieces he has made over the years. He has used “everyday” woods such as walnut as well as exotic woods like zebrawood. He has carved everything from giant grandfather clocks to the smallest most detailed bird. Since his passion was so big, everyone in my family owns many beautiful wooden pieces he has made over the years. Now whenever I see anything made of wood with the beautiful graining coming through I think of him.
When I came across JORD watches I immediately thought of my Great Grandpa and his wood work. The watch bands come in many different styles and woods and you can just see the craftsmanship in them. The one I own feels nice and weighted so I can tell it is high quality. The links are beautifully curved to the wrist and smooth to the touch. You can see the wood grain shining through and it is such a great conversation piece. The face on my watch is turquoise with a tiny “skeleton” hole where I can see some of the gears in the watch peeking through.
I wear a watch every day to work and I find when I wear this one I feel more polished, more unique, and also connected to my Great Grandpa. Everyone compliments how beautiful and unique it is and that they have never seen anything like it! JORD watches are perfect for adding a pop of color to any outfit or just adding an elegant touch. Some of the watch face colors that I like are the rose gold, champagne, and the black.
