Spring Grav3yardgirl Beautycon BFF Unboxing and Review!| 2016
Hey Guys!
In my video below I unbox and review the spring Beautycon BFF Box. Beautycon BFF is a box that ships out quarterly/seasonally. It is $29 every 3 months and you are guaranteed over $100 in products! This month's box is curated by Youtuber Grav3yardgirl AKA Bunny. It has over $130 worth of her favorite products! I have watched Bunny for a couple years now and was excited to hear she was curated this box because she has the same oily skin type as me so I knew she would include her skin care favorites that might work for my skin type.
This box has been my favorite that I have received so far! Make sure to watch my video below and check out the links to the products as well.

Spring Home Decor Under $30!
Hey Guys! Happy Spring!
I love to change up my décor depending on the holiday or season. Usually when people decorate, I feel that they do it for Halloween, Christmas, and then have the same things for the rest of the year. This may work for some people but I get bored quickly with my décor.
I like to keep my décor changing throughout the year whether it is small differences or major ones. In the spring/ Easter time I like to incorporate the classic florals and pastel colors. I feel this brings a fresh start to the season and pushes out the dark colors of winter. I found a cute flower sign at my local thrift store and hang it on my door so my guests feel the vibe from the start. I find that thrift stores are great for Holiday Décor as these are items people typically get rid of in bulk.
I also am a huge fan of throw pillows as I think this is an inexpensive way to update the look and feel of a room. I also change the centerpiece and accessories on my dining table. Currently I have a peacock table runner and vase with feathers but I might switch out the vase for another with faux flowers from the Dollar Tree.
Another thing I like to do to set the vibe is burn candles. When I say I am OBSESSED with Bath and Body Works you have no idea. I go there about once a month, usually with my mom, for their 2 for $24 sale and get the season's newest scents. My favorites for spring are light florals with a fruity sweet scent mixed in. My husband like what I call "laundry" or clean scents so I also burn these as well to give the air a fresh smell.
Another way I prepare my décor for spring is by simply opening the blinds. Now that winter is moving out and the sun is coming through I like to let as much natural light in as possible. I also like to crack the windows when it is warmer to let in fresh air and a breeze. These simple tricks really help the mind and body especially if you suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder like many people do.
Let me know what your favorite spring decorating tips are. I would love to hear them!

Valentine's Day Decor Under $25!
I am a sucker for cheesy decorations. The more cheese the better! I have boxes full of decor and every season I buy more and more stuff. It is a literal addiction!
Something about decorations just gives me so much joy. I love to incoporate not only the colors of a holiday season but also the scents by using candles and the tastes by cooking delicious food or treats!
My favorite thing to decorate with is throw pillows! My couch always has at least 4 on them at once. I can't seem to stop buying them! Simple accessories like pillows, throws and candles are inexpensive ways to update a room and don't create too much work!

$1 Silicone Pot Holder from Dollar Tree as Makeup Brush Cleaner
So as we all know I am completely OBSESSED with the Dollar Tree. I heard a few months back that the silicone pot holders from there are perfect for cleaning makeup brushes. I had been on the look out ever since I heard that with no luck in finding one. But finally on my most recent trip I saw one! It was a pretty blue color. I am sure they have other colors but my store only had one in stock.
On the parts where your fingers go it has a scalloped texture. In the center the texture consists of horizontal lines. These grooves aren't super thick but textured enough to rough up product.
I noticed these have a very similar look to other makeup brush cleaner mats that are on the market. I saw once recently from a high end company that was a silicone mat with textured bumps that looked very similar to the potholder but flat.
I have close ups above of the texture of the product. The sides are great for bigger brushes. The center is perfect for smaller eye shadow brushes.
I took my brushes and put brush cleanser on top. Then while the water was running I swirled the brushes onto the pot holder to get deep into the bristles.
The product immediately came out! Usually when doing this by hand it takes about 2-4 min per brush but the texture helped get the product out so quickly and easily! It only took maybe a minute and my brushes looked brand new! I have a video of the product in action on my Instagram! Check it out!
I even used it on my Beauty Blender. I clean this about once a month with my Blender Cleanser using the fill with water and squeeze method. It usually still has stains on it when I am done. But using this potholder the stains were completely gone! It was great!
This was also very gentle. I didn't notice any major hair fall out from my brushes and the bristles weren't squished or anything.
I HIGHLY recommend getting this the next time you are in the dollar store. I might cut mine so it lays flat to see if that makes a difference but for $1 it is steal! Plus it is small so storing it is a breeze.
Make sure to check out my pictures to see the product in action! I only had 1 hand as the other one was taking pictures so sorry for the awkward angles :P
